Summary : This new edition of the popular "Tangram" course enables students to quickly reach a point where they can use German actively and creatively. Levels 1 and 2 of the course each contain enough material for 50 - 80 class hours (80 - 120 hours for Level 3).
Authentic listening and reading texts are used throughout with exercises that concentrate on everyday language and are designed to encourage discussion of the topics in the book. Grammar is introduced in such a way that students work out the rules themselves by filling in tables etc. Pronunciation and intonation skills are practised from the start with songs, raps and rhymes included for additional practice. The workbook section offer a wide spectrum of language and vocabulary exercises to reinforce the course content and each chapter concludes with a vocabulary section for revision.
